5. Show that 1944 is not a perfect cube.

6. Find the cube root of 729 by prime factorisation.

7. Evaluate (2-1 × 3-1) ÷ 6-1

8. Find the number is standard form: 2.5 × 10-11 

9. Write in scientific notation: 1642.398

10.Expand using exponents:  897.14

II. ANSWER ALL THE TWO OF THE FOLLOWING:                 2X 5 = 10

1. Find the length of the arc, area and perimeter of the sector whose central angle is 45°and radius is 16 cm.

2. A circle of radius 70 cm is divided into 5 equal sectors. Find the area of each of the sectors.

1. List any five rational numbers between the given rational numbers.
              (i) –2 and 0    (ii) 1/4  and  7/20

2. simplify:  

            [11/8  x  (-6/33)] + [1/3 + {(3/5) /(9/20)}] - [4/7  x  -7/5]

3. Verify the commutative property for addition and multiplication for the rational numbers.  
            −10/11   and   −8/33

5. Find (a + b) / (a - b) if
